What is a Bizarro Party?
We should start by explaining the philosophy of “Bizarro” - Bizarro was first introduced by the Superman Comics in October 1958. Bizarro Superman had a twisted sense of logic, which typically manifested as the superficial “opposite” of anything and everything. Under Bizarro logic, it is a punishable crime to present your typical self, therefore, you must act and portray your inverse or alternate version.
For example, whatever is Taboo inside of you, bring it to the surface, because that is your Bizarro self. You can do this through clothes, makeup, behavior, accessories, general attitude, etc. Whatever you do, DO NOT come as yourself - Leave your traditional identity at home, as it will cause tremendous difficulty in “Bizarro World.”
